The hotel location is very close to MG road through a shortcut stairway. The standard room feels a tad small and tight but it’s clean. There’s also a small heater in the room which is nice. The breakfast buffet is just average, as it’s too carb heavy and little actual vegetable dishes.

This was my second stay at this property. The location is excellent - short distance to MG Marg, New Road, West Point Mall, Star Mall, and the main town area. Equally close to the Orchidarium which is walkable from the property. Enchey Monastery is also walkable if one is comfortable walking uphill or in decent shape. Rooms are large, spacious, and comfortable. The terrace above is a great place to sit and chill, and provides for great views of the valley and the mountains on a clear morning.

I arrived late at the hotel but the check in manager, Ms Phurmit, was all ready for me with a nice gesture of upgrading me to a better room. In addition, she went the extra mile by helping me find a driver at night even after she went off work. Really appreciate her excellent service and work ethics. Room has a very nice view and clean. Buffet breakfast is ok although I think perhaps they should include some stir fried green vegetables for those who have a low carb diet. I definitely recommend this hotel and have booked the same hotel for more nights when I return back to Gangtok.
